In case of extensive tooth decay, crowns offer often the best solution.
These porcelain teeth are placed on top of the polished tooth-remains.
Temporary crowns are put into place. So, you will never have to leave the Yoskarn Clinic without an acceptable smile!
- IMPLANTs – artificial roots
In case of missing teeth – for example following extraction or an accident – a metal implant can be placed inside the tooth cavity to serve as artificial root, on which further crowns are fitted.
In case of large surfaces of missing teeth or complete dental loss, rather than the old fashioned dentures, a number of metal implants can be inserted, which then will serve as permanent fixtures for a complete row of porcelain crowns, also known as a 'dental bridge'.
When we attach several crowns to one another, we create a dental bridge, to fill in larger empty spaces between teeth.
A bridge can either be placed on polished teeth-remains or
on titanium root-implants.
